Swank 2017
January 18, 2017, McNamara Alumni Center and D’Amico Catering co-hosted an inaugural event for meeting and event planners, event industry colleagues and both organizations’ 2017 booked wedding clients.
Aptly named SWANK, this party showcased this award-winning caterer and venue. With products and services provided by industry vendors, our New York night club-inspired event included bouncers, red carpet, live and DJ music and a 20’ tall fringe lounge in Memorial Hall. Menu offerings included a raw bar and bubbly station, bibimbap station, southern comfort station and even hot chocolate and peppermint biscotti to go. Interactive party features (including Swank-branded selfie templates) were offered through the app Blippar. More than 250 guests attended to sip, nosh and marvel.
D’Amico and McNamara hope to co-host this event every January.
