For nearly three decades D’Amico Catering has served the Twin Cities with highly inventive cuisine at corporate and special events. A Minneapolis event planner favorite, they have won Best Caterer year after year by numerous industry publications including Minnesota Meetings & Events, Twin Cities Business and Minnesota Bride.

D’Amico Catering has been McNamara Alumni Center’s in-house catering partner since the building opened in 2000. They are the exclusive caterer for all events at McNamara and have a full-service kitchen and on-site sales offices. They are a crowd favorite for wedding receptions, fundraisers, and conferences.

University Events

D’Amico Catering is the exclusive food and beverage provider for events held on the first floor of the McNamara Alumni Center. This includes University of Minnesota events. D’Amico Catering has created a unique and delicious menu especially for University clients found on the University page of this website.

Weddings

D’Amico Catering is the exclusive food and beverage provider for all events held at the McNamara Alumni Center including weddings. D’Amico’s chefs are happy to work with clients on cultural and dietary requests as well as themed menus. They make delicious cakes too! Alcoholic beverages must be provided and served by D’Amico Catering. Take a look at D’Amico’s sample menus for 100 wedding guests and 250 wedding guests.

Special Menu Requests

D’Amico Catering is happy to custom-craft a menu that’s perfect for you, your guests, or the theme of your event. Likewise, their skilled culinary professionals have experience in vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy-aware cooking. Take a look at their sample menus for conferences and galas.

Alcohol Service

D’Amico Catering holds the liquor license and insurance and is responsible for all liquor served on the premises. All liquor must be purchased and served by D’Amico Catering. Drink tickets for your event may be used.

Alumni Discount

If you are a University of Minnesota Alumni Association multi-year or lifetime member and you are our contact for a non-University event, you will receive a $100 give card to any D’Amico restaurant when you book an event in the Johnson Great Room, University Hall or Memorial Hall.
