The McNamara Alumni Center is an ideal location for alumni gatherings held before or after athletic events on campus. We welcome our colleagues from the Big Ten or any college or university and invite you to hold your alumni events here at McNamara when visiting our campus.

Ski-U-Mania: Gopher Football Pregame Parties

Before all home football games at Huntington Bank Stadium, Gopher fans gather across the street at the McNamara Alumni Center for Ski-U-Mania, the official pre-game party of the U of M Alumni Association. This popular party with food and beverages for sale, activities, and entertainment starts two hours before each home game and is FREE and open to anyone.

Rent a private room for pregame gatherings

Forget tailgating! Stay warm and dry no matter the weather by hosting a private pregame party inside McNamara. We have rooms to accommodate 10-150 partygoers. Afterwards, simply walk across the street to the stadium!

Seven rooms from which to choose—either adjacent to Memorial Hall where the public party is or down the hall for semi-privacy
All rooms include a screen for watching pre-game coverage or other games
McNamara staff can reserve parking for your guests in a campus ramp for an additional fee
Choose between 3 game day buffet menus prepared by D’Amico Catering, McNamara’s onsite caterer.
A full bar is available in Memorial Hall for your guests to purchase their own beverages or you can hire a private D’Amico bartender exclusively for your party.
Your reservation is guaranteed without a confirmed game time or if the game time changes
Visiting team parties are located in a private wing of the McNamara Alumni Center which can host up to 300 people. Rental includes private bathrooms and an adjacent private patio with built-in seating for 90 people.
