Heritage Gallery

The Curtis L. and Arleen M. Carlson Heritage Gallery, a multimedia museum in the McNamara Center, honors the accomplishments of University of Minnesota alumni, faculty, students and staff.

This 2,600-square-foot gallery was created by Vincent Ciulla Design of New York and is housed behind the reconstructed Memorial Stadium arch, a prominent fixture in Memorial Hall. The gallery features permanent and changing photographs, videos, artifacts, inventions and interactive kiosks that tell the innumerable stories of the University.

The Heritage Gallery is available to rent for special events including dinners and meetings up to 90 people and receptions up to 100 people.

The Heritage Gallery is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday and whenever it has been rented for a private event. Please call McNamara's Event Office at 612.624.9831 to confirm the gallery is open for visiting.
